OUR REFUND AND RETURN POLICY

There are many different reasons for customers may wish to seek a refund and/or return of an item(s).
Find below the most common reasons for cancellations and refunds:
1) Change of mind
2) Delivery delayed
3) Item out of stock
4) Item not appropriate
5) Not happy with the product quality
6) Damaged Goods
7) Item not available


Harpers Furniture has a fair trading practice and never hold back customer funds or refuse to accept a return inappropriately. We offer customers complete peace of mind and do not restrict customers to use their statutory rights.


If you wish to cancel your order before the item is delivered to you, just email us at sales@harpersfurniture.co.uk. Once we receive this request we will cancel your order. Your refund will be processed within 48 hours. The length of time your card provider take to process things at your end will vary. Please contact your own provider for further information. Exceptions to this are listed further on.


NECESSARY REQUIREMENTS
1.    Items must be returned in their original or appropriate packaging; we may refuse to pick-up if the items are not adequately packed.
2.    There will be a pickup charge of ?60, or 20% of the item cost, whichever is the greater, which will be deducted from the amount you have paid for the goods, if we are collecting the goods ourselves.
3.    There will be no pickup charge if you are returning the goods due to Damage/Wrong/Incomplete delivery.
4.    If you are returning the item to us via a courier arranged by yourself, the item is entirely your responsibility until we have physically received it. We will not refund for goods we have not received back.


Please note that the mode of refund will be the same as the mode of payment at the time of placing your order, we cannot issue a refund to a different account or card.


ITEMS RETURN PROCESS
Any damage or discrepancies must be reported to us in writing within 24 hours of delivery to you.


Please retain the packaging, we require images of boxes in the event of the item delivered damaged, faulty or incorrect. We require photographic evidence of the damage/discrepancy on the item that is being reported in order for us to arrange a free-of-cost replacement.


You have fourteen (14) working days to return an item for any reason.


Bespoke or made-to-order furniture cannot be returned unless faulty.


Kindly note that on clearance items, we do not offer any replacement due to stock availability.


Please Note:
a.    Mattress covers, Mattresses, & Pillows are not covered under this policy for hygiene reasons. If a mattress is faulty or damaged, we will only be able to replace or repair it.
b.    Made to order furniture is not covered under this policy, except if the item is substandard or has been unintentionally damaged during transit.
c.    Products from sofa or semi-fitted wardrobe manufacturers can only be cancelled within 1 week of delivery. After such time, you will not be entitled to any refund of the deposit.
d.    Delivery Charges & other Service charges are not covered under this policy
e.    Once the fourteen (14) days time has lapsed, we cannot accept returns under this policy.
f.    The product not fitting through your door or the passage to your room of choice is not a fault with product. It is entirely your responsibility to ensure the goods fit in the required space and there is sufficient access to get them there.


RETURN & REFUND
In the event of a product being delivered damaged, faulty, or incorrect and the customer wants collection for a refund then we would need photographic evidence of the damaged/faulty/incorrect item and the original packaging it was delivered in. 

 

Please allow us 10-14 days to arrange collection.


The product that you wish to return must be returned in the same condition as supplied and must also be unused & in its original/appropriate packaging.


Upon receiving the items your refund will be processed within 48 hours.


If you have attempted to assemble the product by yourself or appointed any third party to assemble and whilst assembly damage the item. We are not liable for the damage and are unable to offer a return or refund.
